Every head teacher has different responsibilities to fulfill. They lead the
schools and they have to fulfill all their responsibilities, but at times they
have to do a lot more than their responsibilities. Their job doesn't limit them
to handle the teachers only because they have to handle a number of other
things for the institute. Since they have more knowledge than the teachers, the
superiors or the directors expect them to work hard to achieve the goals. The
directors of the institute set the goals and the head teachers have to work
towards the goals because achieving a goal is the most important target to a
professional.

The directors will be disappointed head teachers fail to meet the
goals on time. For example, the reputation of the institute is carried by the head
teachers and they have to make sure the students work hard and work towards a
better image for the institute. And this is not all because a head teacher has
to do a lot more than this. This is why it can be hectic to become a head
teacher.
1) Discipline students
Although it is the responsibility of the teachers to discipline their
students, the head teachers have to ensure that the teachers are working on the
discipline of the students. To check the progress, the head teachers have to
monitor the students all the time because discipline is very important in an
institute. The head teachers can monitor the students and the teachers randomly
to check the discipline standards in the institute and make any changes if
necessary.
2) Check the curriculum
The coordinators or the teachers prepare the curriculum, however, the head
teacher should never let them teach it before checking it. It is important to
check and pass the curriculum before sharing it with the students. You have to
make sure that the curriculum meets the standards of your institute.
3) New opportunities
Students get bored by studying all the time, therefore, the head teachers
have to introduce new opportunities for them to enhance their skills and also
help them spend a good time at the institute.
